Saltine Cracker Toffee Recipe




ingredients:

25 chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 C. packed brown sugar
1 stick of unsalted butter
25 Saltine crackers

Directions:

Line a 9x13 pan with tinfoil. Spray will nonstick cooking spray. Line the crackers on the pan. Melt the butter over medium heat and then whisk in the brown sugar. Bring to a boil and cook exactly 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over the crackers spreading around as needed. If you choose...top each cracker with 1 chocolate chip...(I used 2 and it was a bit much). Place in a 325 degree oven for 8 minutes. Remove and let cool. Break apart and enjoy, If there is any left store in the fridge.
