ingredients:
1 Package chicken gizzards
1 T. cornmeal (I used white)
1/2 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Tsp. garlic powder
Oil for frying
1 T. Water
1 C flour
1 Egg
Directions:
Beat egg in a dish and add 1 T water. Combine flour, cornmeal, garlic powder and cayenne pepper . Heat oil to 375 degrees (I used a deep fryer). Dip gizzards in egg wash then into flour and fry for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
