Chipped Beef Gravy and Toast




ingredients:

2 oz. pkg. beef (like Budding, found in the lunch meat section)
salt and pepper to taste
2 T. all purpose flour
buttered toast
1 1/4 C. milk 
2 T. butter

Directions:

Slice the beef into strips, set aside. Melt the butter in a skillet over med. high heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 30 seconds. Whisk in the milk and as it begins to boil it will thicken up. Once it has reached gravy consistency (about 2-3 minutes) remove from heat and stir in the beef to warm through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over warm buttered toast.
