Ingredients:
1 T. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
1 C. shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese (or more if you like)
10 oz. beef broth (I used the empty tomato can to measure)
10 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 T. worcestershire sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 C. chopped cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
Directions:
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over med. high heat and drain off the grease. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, worcestershire and house seasoning. Combine well. Add the tomatoes and broth, stir and then add in the cabbage. Cover and reduce the heat to medium and cook until the cabbage is tender but not mushy, about 20-25 minutes. Uncover and stir in the cheese, cook until the cheese is melted. Serve over rice if desired.
